 Preah Enkosei Temple is located on the east of Siem Reap river and about 5 minutes from Royal Residence. This temple was built in the 10th century under the reign of king Rajendravarman II (944-968) according to inscription K268. In keeping with 10th century precedent the temple is built almost entirely of brick with a handful of sandstone features such as pediments and door jambs.
